Dr. Streeter obtained her undergraduate degree in animal science from Cornell University and went on to do farm animal nutrition with a feed company for over a year before attending veterinary school at Ross University. She then did her clinical rotations at Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and stayed on to do her Clinical Nutrition residency training where she focused on the relationship between obesity, adipokines and omega-3 fatty acids in dogs and on selenium deficiency in horses.

She spent six years working in general practice and clinical nutrition, while owning her own veterinary nutrition consultation company. In 2018, she decided to focus solely on veterinary nutrition consultations.
