What to expect from us
Our veterinarian will perform a comprehensive physical examination and will determine a plan for necessary diagnostic testing and possible treatments. We will discuss with you the potential outcome of treatment and the anticipated risks involved. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions of the doctors or staff.
We will provide you with a detailed treatment plan associated with the cost of medical services prior to beginning any non-emergency treatments. If your pet needs to be hospitalized, we will keep you informed about your pet’s condition by phone. As your pet’s condition may potentially change without notice, we will discuss various levels of life saving efforts you would like us to perform or withhold according to your wishes. Feel free to contact us at any time for an update on your pet.
Our treatment plan and estimated costs are prepared for you with the information we have available at the time of admission. Results of diagnostic testing, your pet’s response to treatment, surgical time, pain management, and/or variation in surgical consumables may cause your actual bill to be considerably higher than the estimated costs prior to admission. We cannot always predict at the beginning of treatment the exact cost by the end. We can only promise to keep you updated and to follow your wishes regarding the care of your pet.
