Jessie Burgess graduated as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2016. As a young kid in 4H, she had always had a passion for training, showing, and competing in dog sports. This is what led her to pursue Physical Rehabilitation! Rehab has allowed Jessie to work with a variety of dogs—young to old–improving their quality of life and enhancing the relationship between dogs and their owners.
Jessie currently owns 3 dogs: a Gordon Setter (Trey), Whippet (Oakley), and Papillon (Tribble). They compete in Conformation, Rally, and Obedience along with Flyball, Barn Hunt and Dock Diving. They are always willing to try new sports that come their way!
Jessie has been a volunteer Puppy Raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind and is currently raising her 10th puppy. Raising for Guiding Eyes has given her an appreciation for the human animal bond and the intelligence and biddability of dogs.
