Dr. Bloom is from Rochester, NY, where she grew up with four younger siblings and a household of pets. She got her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from SUNY University and Buffalo, and discovered her love of emergency medicine while working as a veterinary assistant at an emergency hospital. She completed veterinary school at Cornell University. After graduating in 2025, she moved to Syracuse to join VMC and follow her passion as an emergency doctor.
In her free time, Dr. Bloom enjoys crochet, knitting, reading fantasy books, hiking, and spending time with her feisty calico cat!
