Dr. Davis grew up in the rural landscapes of New Hampshire before moving to Vermont, where she attended the University of Vermont and lived for seven years. A member of the Honors College, she graduated in 2018 after balancing her rigorous academic studies with a wide range of pursuits that reflected both discipline and curiosity. As an undergraduate, she was an active member of a ballet club, volunteered regularly at local shelters, and dog-sat for members of the community. Outside of academics and service, Dr. Davis cultivated a deep love of adventure—traveling the world, mountain biking, skiing, and hiking throughout New England and beyond. She developed a special interest in shelter medicine, wildlife, and sled dogs, which inspired her to travel to Africa on multiple occasions and to Alaska to work with sled dogs. Following her time in Vermont, Dr. Davis attended Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2025. She has a strong passion for emergency medicine, finding fulfillment in helping owners and their pets through difficult times while prioritizing the human–animal bond at the heart of each case. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three dogs and cat, growing her collection of houseplants, reading, and exploring the beautiful regions of Central and Upstate New York.
